Dear Private Candidate,
1. The results of the 2024 Singapore-Cambridge GCE O- and A-Level Mid-Year Mother Tongue Language (MTL) examinations will be released on 22 August 2024 (Thursday) at 2.00 pm.

You may view your results via SEAB’s Candidates Portal from 2.00pm on 22 August 2024 (Thursday) to 11.00pm on 5 September 2024 (Thursday). No hardcopy result slips will
be issued. You can login to the portal with your Singpass or the account that you created during the registration period.
Appeal for Review of Results
3. The appeal
application period will open from 2.00pm on 22 August 2024 (Thursday) to 11.00pm on 28 August 2024 (Wednesday). SEAB will only process your application if payment is successfully made via SEAB’s Candidates Portal by
the deadline.
4. The appeal application fees are as below:

5. The outcome of your appeal will be ready by 30 September 2024 and this would be sent to the email address that you have provided to SEAB.
Registration for 2024 GCE O-and A-Level Year-End Mother Tongue Language Written Papers
6. The registration period will be from 23 August 2024 to 11.00 pm on 29 August 2024. Your registration will not be processed if payment is not made via SEAB’s Candidates Portal by the deadline.
7. The registration fees are indicated below. The fees are inclusive of GST.

8. Do note that if you were absent from the GCE O- and A-Level MTL Oral and/or Listening Comprehension examination(s) without valid reasons approved by SEAB, you will not be allowed to register for the Year-End MTL written papers. Candidates who are absent from any paper(s) without valid reasons will be marked as absent for the whole subject. These candidates will also not have a grade reflected for these subjects on their examination certificates.
9. It is important to note that the better of your Mid-Year and Year-End MTL examination grades will be reflected on your examination certificate, which will be issued during the 2024 GCE O- or A-Level results release exercises in January and February 2025 respectively.
