RESEARCH OFFICER (DATA SCIENCE), ASSESSMENT RESEARCH - 2 YEAR CONTRACT
RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful applicant will play an active role in handling, analysing and mining data to provide meaning analysis and visualisation for decision making. The key responsibilities include:

Analyse large amount of data for trends and patterns, and build predictive models and machine learning algorithms
-
Apply sound methodologies in data science, statistical analysis and data mining
-
Perform data visualisation to derive insights and value-add to decision making
-
Develop automated marking models for different subjects with constructed responses ranging from answers that are one sentence in length to complex answers requiring an essay or analysis
REQUIREMENTS
-
Tertiary Qualification in Data Science, or Computer Science, or Statistics, with a minimum of 2-3 yearsā€™ experience in manipulating data sets, building statistical models and hands-on experience in machine learning applications

Fresh graduates with relevant exposure can be considered
-
Strong in programming experience and proficient in Python/R/C++

Possess knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques, such as clustering, recommender systems, Natural Language Processing, Deep learning etc., and their real-world applications

Possess knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts, such as regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.
ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCE - 2 YEAR CONTRACT
RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful applicant will be involved in various Human Resources (HR)
functions, which include attracting and recruiting talent, manage staff
development and travel matters, as well as provide support in staff engagement
matters, to provide a positive employee experience for staff and enable
them to contribute towards SEABā€™s growth and goals. The key responsibilities
include:

Partner divisions in their resourcing requirements, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.

Involved in the talent attraction and retention strategies review.
-
Oversee the administration of staff awards and claims.
-
Manage the administration of staff development programmes, overseas travel requests, staff awards and claims.
-
Provide support in the conduct of staff orientation programmes
-
Provide support in any other staff engagement activities when assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
-
At least 4 years of relevant experience in Human Resource, preferably in the public service.
-
Good understanding of the Public Serviceā€™s HR policies and Employment Act.
-
Familiarity with the Public Service Human Resource and Payroll (HRP) Portal would be advantageous
-
Outgoing personality with an ability to engage various levels of internal and external stakeholders comfortably.
-
Possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
-
Possess high level of integrity and work ethics.
-
Experience in data analysis and reporting will be an added advantage.
