𝑖PSLE

The Singapore International Primary School Examination (𝑖PSLE) is the international version of Singapore's Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE). The 𝑖PSLE was introduced with the aim of allowing overseas schools to benchmark their academic standards against Singapore's standard. 

A total of four subjects are offered to students taking the PSLE, namely English Language, Mathematics, Science and Chinese Language. Students may register for a minimum of one subject. The formats are similar to those of the Singapore PSLE.

Examination Subjects and Syllabuses

SEAB has made available for the 𝑖PSLE the following subjects:

  • English Language
  • Chinese Language
  • Mathematics
  • Science

Candidates can sit for a maximum of 4 𝑖PSLE subjects, inclusive of English Language, Chinese Language, Mathematics and Science.

The format, standards and testing requirements of the 𝑖PSLE are similar to the Singapore PSLE.

The 𝑖PSLE is currently offered at 17 appointed examination centres in 8 countries (Cambodia, China, East Malaysia, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam).

Please note that you are not allowed to register for 𝑖PSLE, and any of the national examinations or admission tests* in the same examination year.

 

*National examinations refer to PSLE and GCE-Level examinations while admission tests refer to AEIS, S-AEIS, SPERS-Sec and SPE.

Release of Examination Results

The examination results are usually released in November of the examination year and the results will be reported in the form of Achievement Levels: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

Result Slip

You will receive your result slip from your examination centre when the examination results are released.

Examination Certificate

You will receive an 𝑖PSLE certificate if you are awarded a grade for at least one 𝑖PSLE subject.
